The Cascina del Castello is the result of the careful restoration of the former stables of the Castle of Belangero, architectural evidence of Asti whose origins are indicated between the tenth and eleventh centuries. Located at the foot of the hill on which stands the castle, on the border between the Langhe and Monferrato, the agriturismo enjoys an extraordinary view of the nature of the artisan hills, among vineyards, dirt paths and woods.
The barn of the farmhouse has been divided into 8 studios of which five equipped with kitchenette, all with exposed beams and furnished with antique furniture and fine finishes.
The Cascina del Castello is the ideal place to spend a stay, even long, in the name of tranquility, good food and life in the midst of nature. Without forgetting that the farm is in a favorable position that allows you to quickly reach Asti (just 5 km) and the motorway junctions Alba-Cuneo and Turin-Alessandria.
Our Rooms
All the rooms have been restored with the utmost care: wooden beams, some antique furniture recovered from the Castle and carefully restored, create a unique union with the surrounding environment. All apartments are equipped with maximum comfort with large interior spaces and comfortable and functional furnishings.
Our Restaurant
The restaurant of our farm is a cozy rustic environment that offers typical Piedmontese dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients at km 0, coming from our farm. You can enjoy appetizers with local cold cuts and cheeses, first courses with fresh pasta and meat or vegetable sauces, main courses with fine meats and roasts, accompanied by a wide selection of Piedmontese wines.
